𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐒

 Imagine: you combine voice-destroying vocals, a host of effects pedals with an above-average level of BRRR and a drummer who hates his drums as well as his ears. Result: the Maasmechelen noiserock trio called HAMERS. Their soundtrack: top-notch noise that flirts with the boundaries of the musical and likes to nestle in the Kafkaesque world of dissonance. HAMERS drags you on a journey into the heart of madness. Better buckle up.

HAMERS saw the light of day in 2018. Under the banner of their first EP "GROBTOK," they toured the country for two years, breaking down many a stage, including that of Muziekodroom, Rock Herk and AFF. Then, of necessity, they dove back behind the writing desk.

On June 2, 2023, HAMERS will release their new album "MERKAHNDYS" to the world. After two years of writing, deleting and experimenting, the band manages to take their atypical sound even further. Influences range from Black Midi, Slint and HORSE The band to Lightning bolt and Nailbomb, but HAMERS does not allow itself to be bound by any noiserock, punk or metal cliché. Each line is happily torn to shreds and then buried deep with the shovel that is also part of the drummer's instrumentation. The album was recorded in May 2022 at Hightime Studio and technically directed by Kasper De Sutter (SHHT, 30,000 Monkies, Youff...).
